Ludo and Veronique Philippaerts are at the heart of one of Belgium’s most renowned equestrian families. A four-time Olympian, Ludo competed at the highest level of international show jumping for decades, with memorable performances alongside legendary horses such as Darco. He finished fourth individually at both the 2000 Sydney and 2004 Athens Olympic Games and built a career defined by consistency, horsemanship and a deep passion for the sport.

Alongside him, Veronique has always played an essential role in the family’s equestrian journey. As a dressage rider, mother and driving force behind the scenes, she helped create the environment in which their four sons — Olivier, Nicola, Thibault and Anthony — could develop their own careers in international show jumping.
