What is the purpose of a saddle pad?
A saddle pad has several purposes. A saddle pad absorbs the transpiration moisture from your horse, keeping it away from the saddle. Our saddle pads are made from high-quality breathable material, which is good at regulating transpiration moisture. Secondly, it also acts as a shock absorber, significantly improving the wearing comfort on the horse’s back. This absorbent role is facilitated by the soft filling. For horses with sensitive skin or clipped horses, we have developed the Skin Friendly Saddle Pad range, that prevents rubbing or chafing. This is a huge help for equestrians with horses who struggle with rubbing marks. A saddle pad has quickly become a statement piece in the equestrian world. To have the full Kentucky look, our saddle match most of our other products.
Saddle pads for dressage
A dressage saddle is straight at the front and requires an appropriate saddle pad. In order to fit with the saddle, the dressage saddle pad is also designed with a straight front. Our saddle pads are available in different colours and designs and can therefore be matched perfectly with your riding outfit. A matching fly veil and bandages complete the look. For competitions and shows we have saddle pads with pearls and rhinestones along the edge for an added show element.
Saddle pads for jumping
Our Show Jumping saddle pads are rounded in the front and have a shock absorbing function while jumping. Our Showjumping saddle pads can also be used for recreational riding with a multipurpose saddle. As with our other collections you can choose a saddle pad from a range of different colors, to suit the style of your own riding outfit. Then you can always be matching with your horse.
