Henrik von Eckermann

is a Swedish Olympic show-jumping rider celebrated for a calm, classical style and meticulous horsemanship built around feel, precision, and a deep partnership with each horse.

A long-time fixture at the very top of the sport, he rose to the FEI world number one position after his breakthrough 2022 season with King Edward and held that spot for an extended period, underlining the consistency of his training and management.

With King Edward, he delivered Sweden’s Olympic team gold at Tokyo 2020 and placed fourth individually, and he later became the first Swede to win an individual jumping world title at the 2022 FEI World Championships in Herning.

Earlier in his career, he also claimed major indoor success with a World Cup victory at Jumping Amsterdam in 2019—another example of the accuracy and competitive composure that define his riding
