What to do during lockdown: equestrian edition
The pandemic has a big influence on life at the stables. Competitions are getting canceled, the government might have restrictions on the amount of time you can spend with your horse and some countries even have a lockdown. To help you get through this time, we’ve created a list of things you can do during Covid.
1) Clean your tack and brushes
Is cleaning your tack something you always postpone? Now is the perfect time to take care of it. If you have artificial leather products from Kentucky Horsewear cleaning your tack is a piece of cake with our tack cleaner. You simply spray the product on your artificial leather goods and wipe it off with a clean towel. To have your boots shine like new ones, use our boots cleaner in the same way you use the tack cleaner. If you have a saddle pad, bandages or rug you want to clean, just throw them in your washing machine. Most of our products are washable at 30 degrees (no dryer). It’s best to check the care guide for each product on our website. Because some products need a washing bag to have maximum protection in the washing machine.2) Sort your saddle pads collection

Over the years, tack rooms can become more like a hoarding cave of products. Time to turn it back to a tack room. Put all your clean rugs together in our rug bag.
