This curb chain combines the correct function of a traditional Pelham curb chain with the comfort of a soft leather covering. The leather wraps around the links, preventing the chain from pressing directly against your horse’s chin groove. This helps distribute pressure more gently and evenly, reducing the risk of rubbing and irritation. Ideal for horses with a sensitive chin groove or thin skin.
- Soft leather covering – protects the chin groove and helps prevent rubbing.
- Even pressure distribution – provides a gentler, more consistent action of the bit.
- Supple leather – for added comfort.
- Strong stainless-steel core – ensures reliable performance.
- Suitable for Pelham and double bridle bits.
Care tip: Regularly condition the leather with a suitable leather balm to keep it supple and help it last longer.
