Thibault Philippaerts
Thibault Philippaerts is a Belgian show jumping rider carrying one of the sport's most famous family names into its next chapter. Third of four brothers, he grew up in the yards of Oudsbergen, where his father Ludo — a four-time Olympian and 2006 Global Champions Tour winner — built one of Belgium's great show jumping dynasties around his legendary stallion Darco.
Following his older twin brothers Nicola and Olivier onto the international circuit, Thibault has spent recent seasons proving he's more than just the next name on the stable door. He claimed the U25 title at Lövsta in Stockholm and has continued to post strong results across Europe, most recently with the rising Gift des Lunes and Samiro. With grooms, horses and family all training out of the same yard, Thibault is doing what every Philippaerts before him has done: turning hours in the saddle into results in the ring, one class at a time.
